Veterans Memorial

The Huron Township Rotary owns a small piece of land at the corner of Huron River Dr. and Violet St. in downtown New Boston.  In May of 1959 the New Boston Rotary club built a Veterans Memorial on that small piece of land.  Over the years it had deteriorated to a point that cost of repairing it was out of the question.  So in 2006-2007 the now Huron Township Rotary Club started doing some special fundraising to rebuild the Veterans Memorial.  With the help of many private member of the community and businesses as well as ATT which allowed use to enlarge the Memorial by using some of their property.  On Veterans Day 2007 we rededicated the newly rebuilt Veterans Memorial for the city of New Boston and Huron Township.  We sell Memorial bricks to help with the ongoing maintenance of the memorial.  So if anyone would like to buy a brick remembering a friend or family member, need not be a veteran to get a memorial brick.  If interested in the purchase of a brick please contact us at.
